This series consists of the audio recordings of the reading of the final report of the Free Conference Committee on Home Rule concerning Senate Bill S-18. S-18 proposed major changes in the operation and organization of both county and municipal governments and was signed into law as Act No. 283, known as the Local Government Law of 1975 or the Home Rule Act. A printed copy of the report appears in the House Journal for June 6, 1975, and the Senate Journal for June 10, 1975.
