This series records conveyances of lands, such as deeds, leases and releases, and mortgages, although mortgages were separated from this series in 1872. Each entry generally includes names of grantor and grantee, location and acreage of property conveyed, and the monetary and other terms of the conveyance. Some plats of the lands conveyed are also recorded. This series spans the years 1870-1891 (bulk) and 1963-1964.
