Please be assured that South Carolina has a number of systems and processes in place that would prohibit a potentially detrimental company from establishing or locating to any area of the state. While the S.C. Department of Commerce refrains from discussions surrounding any projects that we may or may not actively be pursuing, we realize, and accept the responsibility of, attracting and maintaining only those businesses and industries that are sustainable and have the utmost concern for the environment.
