Children have been killed because of gun accidents this year. Children have accidentally shot and killed their parents and others this year, scarring them for life. It is intellectually and morally pathetic not to demand that people obtain training and a permit to carry these weapons that endanger themselves, their families, and other peoples' families. I desperately urge the Governor to veto this bill when it inevitably reaches her desk.
