This program is in Lexington Kentucky. It was founded by Dr. Andrew Moore as a non-profit where doctors and nurses volunteer their services for free on the third Sunday of every month, working in donated surgical space at the Lexington Surgery Center. Their mission is to take car of people LIKE ME that fall between the cracks and are not eligible for federal programs but also cannot afford healthcare. On average the program saves Medicaid $22 million a year and $25 million for local hospitals. http://abcnews.go.com/WN/surgery-sunday-doctors-provide-free-surgeries-uninsured-receive/story?id=11180307 Sincerely, Elizabeth Burnett
