The Ocklawaha Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution in Mt. Dora, Florida will be celebrating our 100th birthday this year.  It would mean so much to us if you could address a birthday letter to our chapter.  Our chapter is proud to serve our community in Lake County, Florida and we look forward to more years of promoting patriotism, education and honoring our nation's veterans.  We realize this is not a matter for your state, but it would be appreciated nonetheless.

The National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution will also be celebrating a milestone in 2015-16.  Nationwide we will be celebrating our 125th anniversary!  This is an exciting time in our history.  When our scrapbooks are examined, 100 years from now, we would like to show, to future generations, the depth of our conviction and devotion to the Patriots who sacrificed their lives and fortunes that we may enjoy the benefits of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
