If you claim that the Confederate Battle Flag is offensive then I believe you. 

The LINCOLN MEMORIAL now offends me! 

It represents an oppressive President that ordered a murdering General Ulysses S. Grant to invade the South and commit war crimes against my ancestors both military and civilians. 

I WANT THE LINCOLN MEMORIAL DEMOLISHED AND ONLY BE VIEWED IN HISTORY BOOKS. 

Tell me why my feelings toward the past symbolism is less important than yours. 

While you are at it have the history books corrected to reflect the war crimes that were committed by Grant while he marched through Georgia.

Southern Heritage matter also.  Think about that!
