Every school I've ever walked into all you have to do is literally buzz a button and the nice lady lets you walk right in.....why is that? Why are there not stricter mandated state laws in place regarding terrorist attacks/hate crimes to protect our children while at school? A court house is over flowing with armed police officers, why do they need metal detectors, they can defend themselves. Why are our innocent children not better protected by the federal and state governments? Why are there no metal detectors when walking into our schools? This should be a law! The schools should have them in place more than any other facility because, by law, teachers and school officials are not allowed to arm themselves!! Thank you, Very concerned parent
