Goose Creek SC 29445 saraannlemay@yahoo.com HEAL My coverage 50.139.216.201 I am a 25 year old full-time student who is graduating with my Master's degree in May. I also work with children with autism for my job. I also live with my mother who has been having some serious health problems over the past 3 years. Due to all of these factors, I am only able to work limited hours. This month I will be turning 26, and will subsequently be removed from my mother's health insurance, and I am thankful to President Obama for making the changes that allowed me to stay on her policy in the first place. After recently completing an application on Healthcare.gov, I found that all the policy options available to me are too expensive for me to afford in my situation right now. I also was informed that had South Carolina accepted the Medicaid expansion, I would qualify for one of the free/low-cost policies. I want you to know that your decision to turn away that federal money has put me in such a vulnerable position, and that you made that decision thinking of your own political ego and not of the citizens of the state. I have worked very hard at my job for over 4 years, held a 4.0 GPA and taken care of my mother because she has no one else. Why do I not deserve healthcare?
