You and your team have consistently beaten NC to the punch in recruiting major industry. For that I congratulate you. I thought your response to the state of the union was well written and your delivery was spot on! I take exception with one theme. When you said that Republicans in DC share responsibility for the problems our nation faces, I agreed wholeheartedly. Here is where I take exception to a couple of your remarks. It seems that you underestimate the anger that conservatives feel not only towards the liberal democrats, but also towards the establishment republicans. The angry voice you referenced has forced folks to discuss problems that in all likelihood would have been glossed over due to political correctness. I believe that's a good thing! I am not a fan of Donald Trump, but I get it. I get why common folks are siding with him. Common folks from both parties I might add. We have sat by after giving republicans a huge majority in the house in three consecutive elections, and more recently a majority in the senate, all the while watching them get ran over by an ideologically driven president and his minions. A president whose ideology obviously isn't consistent with the majority of Americans. If the establishment republicans don't wake up and smell the coffee, the party very well may be torn apart. That may not be a bad thing. God Bless, Cliff W
