The roadside litter is our area is the worst I have ever seen. I have called in to the Sheriffs Environmental Management division and have reported one of the worst spots near my home with no action to date. I have had No Litter signs dropped off by the Sherriff's department at my home which I put up on the roads near my home with hardware that I purchased. I understand the Sherriff's department has a staff of nine personnel to pickup hundred's of miles of roads in Greenville County and cannot expect them to stay ahead of this plight. Cannot the State contribute manpower, money and perhaps a educational media campaign to help convince South Carolina citizens to stop this practice? I understand there is a on-going plan to "fix" S.C. roads is there any plan to include a more robust Litter Control / Clean-up program imbedded in the new road Maintenance plan? If not there should be. I look forward to hearing from someone on this matter. Thank you Ivor Pardee
