Haley. I am well aware of the emergency caused by the recient Storm, but the residents of Cameron Village where I live are in trouble. We are totally flooded in and are unable to get out, were trapped. There is over 5 feet of water in the roads, the water is up to our houses and it's not giving way. I called Horry County and they said were aware of the problem. But we are totally blocked in and need immediate assistance. I have had surgery on my foot and am disabled, unable to help myself. We need someone from the Horry County or the state to come here and evaluate our situation. Then give us some time frame when we might be able to see assistance arrive. I truly kid you not, the water is over the mailboxs at the roadway and within inches to feet from our homes. The water retention ponds are overfill and have now combined to flood everywhere. I know others in our great state are hard hit, but we have not seen any hope of assistance here, no county or state vehicles, military or anyone. There are hundreds of people in this community off Hwy 707 and Bay Rd. In Burgess community. Please send us help !
