I was very disappointed to read that you will be attending the GOP convention and supporting Trump.  It particularly disappoints me that you waited until after Mother Emanuel's anniversary to announce your decision.  I was very proud how you were strong enough to chastise him publically, and how you handled the Mother Emanuel's tragedy.  I cannot believe that you are ignoring what Trump is and stands for and are attending the GOP convention to support him.  
I remember during your campaign you wrote a touching letter to a young girl that was being bullied telling her that you had her back.  I was impressed how you overcame hardships and discrimination to become the first woman governor in South Carolina. With all that, I cannot believe that you are ignoring what Trump is and stands for and are attending the GOP to support him since he is disrespectable and bullies women, demeaning, mocks disabled, incites violence against those who do not believe as he does, promotes racism, and has no respect for America's laws and ideals.
It appears that you are sacrificing American citizens' well-being to advance your political career.
