Dear Friends of St. Martin,

It has been 77 years since the doors of St. Martin de Porres Catholic School first opened and the school became, and remains a landmark and symbol of educational excellence in the Waverly Community. St. Martin's continues the great tradition of providing a Christian educational environment for Pre-K3 - sixth grade students. We are indeed proud of our history and deeply committed to impacting the lives of young people. 

We invite you to join us in the celebration of our Annual Gala on Saturday, March 29, 2014. The theme for the event is "2014 Stars Fabulous (70's, 80's, 90's Plus)" It will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church Center, 3600 Devine Street, Columbia, SC, 6:30 p.m. This is our major annual fundraiser for the school. The evening will include dinner, dance, silent auction &amp special guests. 

The ticket donation price is $35.00. Tickets can be purchased from the school office. Another way to support the Annual fundraiser is to be a Sponsor, place an Ad in the Souvenir Booklet or donations for the Silent Auction.

Our goal is to raise $25,000.00. Some of the proceeds will be used to upgrade our aged facility, cafeteria, purchase curriculum materials and P.E. equipment. The success of our 2014 Gala will be accomplished with your help. 

We are very excited about this event and look forward to our evening of fun and renewing friendships. Please check our facebook for a flyer that announces our Gala. The donation form for sponsorship and auction items is included with this letter.  Make checks payable to St. Martin de Porres Catholic School.
