Madam Governor,

I must say I am very disappointed that the South's Confederate Battle flag is caught up in the middle of Political correctness again.  My family has flown the Battle Flag with great pride since the beginning of the Civil War.  We still fly the Confederate Flag as this correspondence is being constructed.  Flying the Confederate Flag is the only right the South has that the Federal Government has not taken away. 

As a Republican Governor you should know that the vast majority of the people which are asking you to remove the Battle Flag are indeed Democrats and will not ever vote for a Republican no matter what you do for them.

The Democrats/Blacks are never happy no matter what you do for them. You take the Battle flag down today and next week they will want you to raise the African Flag in its place.  They are never ever satisfied about anything.  Our Southern Heritage should not be compromised because some derange maniac takes it upon himself to slaughter innocent folks.  If this punk would have displayed the American Flag would the Blacks demand that our Nations Flag be removed?  It is just an excuse for many Blacks to get their way. 

Let me say; if you take the Battle Flag down then you will make all the Democrats/Blacks very happy, but keep in mind that you will make the majority of Republicans unhappy.

If you are serious about taking the Battle Flag down, then I ask you suggest a compromise that may make both sides happy.  Suggest taking the Battle Flag down only to be replaced by the First National Confederate Flag, "commonly called the Stars &amp Bars".  The Blacks are complaining that the Confederate Battle Flag is used by hate groups like the KKK &amp Nazis groups.  This is their reasoning for their disappointments.

The First National Battle Flag has never been affiliated with any hate group and is more appealing to the eye.  You take the Battle flag down to satisfy the complainers but you erect the First National Confederate Flag to appease heritage.  This dilemma should satisfy both sides.
