Dear Governor Haley:

I sent you an email concerning the Confederate Flag on Tuesday, 6/30/15.  I have a letter to the editor in the Findlay, Ohio newspaper, The Courier, dated 6/30/15.  You can find it online.  

Please do not take down the Confederate Flag.  As I stated before I was in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam.  I was off the coast of Vietnam on two different aircraft carriers.  When I was on the aircraft carriers I asked myself if I were to die what would I be dieing for?  One would be the right to vote and the other would be freedom of speech and freedom of expression.  

Please do not go down the slippery slope of removeing the Confederate Flag.  You would be takeing away the right to freedom of expression.  

As an alternative why not build a monument to those nine black people to honor their memory.  I would be willing to donate some money to that end.  Why not go nationwide and ask all of the people who are Politically Correct to contribute.  If this nation is as Politically Correct as I think it is I would imagine there would be a lot of contributers.  

I realize that you probably get 100's maybe 1000's of emails per day.  I can only hope that this email gets to you.
