Governor Haley,
I grew up in SC and in 1986 went to Columbia MEPS to go on to serve our country for 20 years. I retired and work has kept me in Virginia. All of my family is spread over SC and NC. I pay attention to SC politics and even follow you via FB, as I intend to return to SC again and as you can imagine visit often. I also am a Virginia Concealed Handgun Permit holder and take seriously the ability to defend myself and family if the need were to arise.

As you may be aware, VA's Attorney General and VSP have cancelled reciprocity with SC. My interpretation of SC law is that SC will now drop VA. I am also of the understanding that SC does not accept non-resident permits and I cannot get a SC non-resident permit as I do not own property in SC (yet). So now when I visit SC, I am defenseless.
