You state we've never in the history of this country passed any laws or done anything based on race or religion??? Do you know what Executive Order 9066 is??? Read about it educate yourself. All persons of Japanese ancestry were sent to internment camps including American born citizens during World War II. They were sent to live in horse stalls at local race tracks, served rotten food before the government sent them to marginal housing in the most desolate parts of the country. They had very little time to dispose of their property and personal items getting only pennies on the dollar. Do you realize how much they lost?  Have you never seen the pictures of people that are tagged with numbers on them??? People lost their dignity, some committed suicide. Even babies in orphanages with one half Japanese heritage were taken away and sent to these camps. My father and uncles, all born in California, volunteered for the army while their parents and family were interned. Read up on the 442 and Military Intelligence Service. Have these 120,000 people been forgotten? I cannot even believe this level of ignorance, especially in the highest levels of government. Are the American history books whitewashed? Although I doubt that you will even read this or respond, I felt compelled to write this. I hope that you will educate yourself.
