Hello, Caroline,

I hope this finds you well!   Thank you again for the information you have shared in the past.

I am contacting  you today, on behalf of the  Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) of South Carolina,  to request the review of a Proclamation for potential acceptance and signing by Governor Haley.

I am attaching a copy of the “Proclamation for  Recognition of the Vietnam War Veterans.”    This proclamation has been accepted and sent to  state DAR chapters throughout the United States for submission to each state’s governor.  Would you mind forwarding it to the Office of Veterans’ Affairs for their review and possible submission to Governor Haley for signing, to designate such as a State Proclamation for March 29?

Thank you for your consideration,

Gayle Stewart
