Dear Governor Haley,
I am a big supporter and believe you are doing a great job.  I am writing today to encourage you and your staff to begin some initiatives aimed at safer highways and reducing the # of accidents that are prevalent in the Low Country.  A recent article claimed SC to have the worse drivers - I am not qualified to judge that but the data and statistics would make you wonder.  I intersect that thought with the number of near misses I face everyday along with higher insurance rates that I pay (by comparison to neighboring states).  I am not a proponent of government overreach but I do believe that our relaxed laws related to "distracted driving" are at least part of the problem.  Food for thought - this is one #1 rating we really don't want and everyday there are injuries and loss of life that I believe could be addressed through your leadership.
