 Open Door Meetings are Popular
Governor Mark Sanford's new policy of meeting with the public is a big hit.

Sanford announced during his State of the State address that he would open his doors one evening a month to talk to people.

Wednesday morning, his office starting signing up people for meetings with the governor. Twelve minutes after the sign-up period began, the slots for Wednesday meeting were full.

Sanford's staff has started filling up sheets for the next two meetings; one in two weeks and another March 5th.

Each person gets five minutes with the governor.
