I have cancer and fractured my back in a fall because I have very poor vision.I have medicaid. Medicaid covers medically necessary contacts for kerataconus, which i have. Medicaid has sent me a letter stating it is covered but is not providing me with a provider who can do the medically necessary lenses. I have filed grievances but it has gone nowhere. Essentially they are failing or refusing to follow federal law on what medicaid covers. Is there a department in your office who can provide assistance with this. My next step is a complaint on the federal level. Including news coverage for SC's lousy medicaid if necessary. I need to see so that i do not fall again and become paralyzed this time.
