I came from Michgan and I retired as a supervisor in the Michigan State Police and as a Professor at Delta College which leads towards my thoughts fo S.C I have observed many very defective and dangerous trailers (or all sizes ) fpr the last 19 years I S.C. and observed how the police could help in safety matters and criminal matters if they could investigate unlicensed tailers ie; legal operators of the vehicle, legal registrations of the vehicle and trailers ( not stolen), defective equipment (lighting, turn signals, etc) and allow the officers to look for other contraband. Without this enforcement tool, officers can care less about trailers, about the crime that may be involved and obviously the tremendous loss of revenue to the State.
