Summerville SC 29486 chabclarke@outlook.com 843-688-5815 GUNS Deer Hunting with dogs 64.20.20.227 My wife (Debbie) is extremely upset with the ongoing intrusion of dogs, dog hunters, noise, etc. The dogs and hunters are getting to be a serious problem not only to us and our quality of life but also our neighbors throughout the area. It seems to me most complaints against deer hunting are directed towards the dog hunters infringing and outright trespassing onto private property which is in violation of the new renegade hunting law. We are extremely proud of DNR and have high regard for their efforts to enforce the laws regarding deer hunting but when it is all said and done it's dog hunters causing most of the problems for private landowners and places of abode. New legislation which would outlaw deer hunting with dogs is a must if we can ever expect to have any peace from a problem that has existed for years. When will it ever be taken seriously and addressed by the Legislature. I often wonder how many citizens are truly affected by this ongoing problem but are afraid to complain. Hunters should not be allowed to hunt or stand on public roadways, it should be prohibited. Another problem is the disposal of entrails. They are dumped in streams and ditches, along public roadways, ect. They should be buried or taken to the landfill for proper disposal. Please consider the rights of private landowners/homeowners in regard to a problem we've had for many years.
