Ma'am, I have sent several emails previously. My concern is I was employed by Gildan for almost 6years. I left my job because of a bad situation with my Director. I strongly feel that it was unfair treatment because or my race. To make a long story short, we had an employee that was operating a power equipment unsafely and I reported it to my manager before anything happened. Unfortunately, nothing was done until she was involved in an accident. At that time, I strongly feel that the company did noting about the employee until after that accident. The Director came to the floor began yelling and screaming at me and it was not my employee. to keep that from escalating to a higher level, I packed my belongings and left. I explained it to job service several times but it seems not to matter. The employee unsafe practice was reported to me several times by different associates because they faired they would be involved in an accident. As of today, I an still unemployed and have sent out about 500 resumes with and still don't have a job. I am confused as to what I should have done at work when I reported that situation BEFORE anything happened. I have asked job service about that situation several times but has never gotten an answer. I really need your help and assistance.
