Dear Governor Haley, I'm sorry to bother you this way I hope I'm not bothering your time as governor. I am a patient at Veterans Victory House a nursing home in Walterboro South Carolina. I have tried calling numerous places about how this place is ran. From what I understand this place was built years ago as a place for veterans care the contract was awarded through the Department of Mental Health. They have a person to make complaints to who is supposed to report it to management which I never do. My biggest complaints are the food is not of good quality nourishment and there are flys all over the food when you're trying to eat. My second complaint is they are always understaffed on all shifts, the tech tells me they are short staffed, for example they are supposed to have four staff members on at night and they normally only have 3. They are all so rude. There has also been a twelve-year-old serving breakfast in the mornings. I feel everyone is covering for one another and my concerns are swept under the rug what I'm asking is if you can have someone come talk in private to me other than someone from the Department of Mental Health so they can look into the situation thank you sincerely advance
