Wow Governor, just wow! I, along with so many others I have spoken to are sincerely impressed with the preparation for Hurricane Matthew. I live in Rock Hill but have a daughter at the College of Charleston so I was panicked when I heard the storm was projected to hit. Because of your quick and efficient plans, she was able to make it to Rock Hill on Tuesday night...with no car. I work two jobs to try to keep in her in school with no aid so I was unable to take off work to get her. With you providing ample time, I was able to find a friend near her to get her and meet me in Columbia. None of this would have been possible if you and your team had not acted so quickly. Thank you for keeping my daughter safe. From the road "switching", to the closures and so many other details you all had to work out....Wow again, just Wow!
