Human Resources
The Office of Human Resources plans, develops, and administers human resource programs for the South Carolina Department of Agriculture. The office provides advice to agency personnel regarding human resource issues and is responsible for employee relations, classification and compensation, recruiting, benefits administration, and records management. Human
Resources also ensures agency compliance with Federal, State, and agency regulations, rules, and policies by maintaining accurate, up-to-date policies and procedures. In addition, the Office of Human Resources responds to internal and external inquiries relative to the agency's human resources programs, policies, and procedures.
