The students at Dutch Fork Middle School are working hard to prevent prejudice and stop bullying.  We recently mailed you letters and a "Hate Won't Win" pledge poster signed by the students. The Junior Beta Club students are working so hard to fight prejudice and prevent bullying. Encouragement from you would mean so much to the children. Next Monday, Alana Simmons will be visiting our students to thank them personally for their work and personal commitment to the cause. As you know, Rev. Daniel Lee Simmons Sr.(Alana's grandfather) died as a result of the Charleston Nine attack. Our school is joining with the national movement started by Rev. Simmon's grandchildren. The most recent post on the  national FB page highlights South Carolina's bravery and compassion in response to the flood.
