Easley SC 29642 larburn47@yahoo.com 864-992-1344 ECON Major League Basesball Expansion Dear Governor Haley, I am following up this e-mail with a letter concerning the next major league baseball expansion. It has not yet been announced when it will be but Charlotte, NC is on the list for possible expansion. My idea would be to have a team in Rock Hill that would represent the Carolina's as the Panthers do.It is worth contacting Mr. Selig, commissioner of MLB for a feasibility study.New Jersey hosts 3 teams from NYC because of the tax structure.Bringing the big leagues to South Carolina would be a huge revenue, business building and job venture. Yes, this would cost a lot up front but the growth of this state would be enhanced ten fold. What a legacy it would be for you if you put our great state on the map for a professional sports team. Please, give it a try! Thanks for your anticipated interest, Larry Sherburne
