We are very happy with our decision, however, I am hearing about the federal govt. considering a .25 tax on gas, Beaufort County adding a .01 tax for 10 years (which, once implemented will never end), and SC adding taxes on gas, vehicle sales, and license fees to fix the roads. It is really too much for retired people. Addition of taxes kills the economy, and the goose that laid the golden egg. People will stop moving to this beautiful state. I understand that our roads need improvement; I drive on them every day. However, all government has waste and can be restructured to find money that is being wasted. I am never in favor of increased taxes because the ramifications to the economy are not good. Thank you.
