I have up until this point been pleased with the decisions you have made for our state. If we allow a small group of people to influence our decision making on this subject, then we might as well go ahead and remove the Hunley from the museum in Chareston, we might as well go ahead and close down the battery, we might as well close the Boone Hall plantation, we might as well go ahead and shut down Fort Sumter and Fort Moultrie, and while your at it why don't we come to my home county and shut down historic Brattonsville. I have always been proud to be called a South Carolinian, but the flag stands for the same history that all of these other things. What happened in Charleston was a tragedy with out a doubt, but the history that our flag stands for had nothing to do with it. Please do the right thing and stand up for the people of South Carolina and don't let the few and the media influence your decisions when it comes to matters of our state.
