Charleston along with the SouthEast has some of the best colleges, yet our public school systems are lacking. In order to remain a competitive force amongst our global counterparts we must procreate an academic environment that gears ALL students toward academic excellence. By integrating ptech schools into the state of South Carolina we too can lessen our education gap, increase the percentage of high school graduates in our poverty stricken areas, which in turn could lower our need for domestic government funds and join the forces alongside other states who are nurturing the leaders of tomorrow.
