Can't believe the reasons given for the veto. By pulling out the helmet and vest requirement you are giving the moped rider even more state supported freedom to get around a suspended drivers license. This bill needs to be written with the requirements of earlier versions (not on highways with more than 35 mph speed limit, insurance required, no issuance of moped license if drivers license is suspended, and any of the other requirements that would get this nuisance and their riders off of the roads. There are many other ways that people can travel if they really want to get to their jobs. If you are going to allow circumvention of DUI punishments by giving moped riders the world then let's abolish DUI laws and save SC some time and money. 64.138.215.116
