Sanford to hold budget hearing Friday

Gov. Mark Sanford will host the last of seven statewide budget hearings in Beaufort on Friday in preparation for presenting his executive budget.
The public hearing will be from 9:30 a.m. to noon in the executive conference room of Beaufort County Administration Building, 100 Ribaut Road.
Each public hearing focuses on a number of state departments. Beaufort's hearing will focus on the State Law Enforcement Division and the departments of Corrections; Juvenile Justice; Public Safety; Natural Resources; and Probation, Parole and Pardon Services.
