Governor Haley,

I realize that this is a long shot but my husband and our daughter are going to Washington DC in early June and would love a chance to tour the White House. While researching our trip I quickly realized that a visit to America's most important residence is not as easy as it once was.  as you probably already know, all the websites said to contact your local congressman. Instead I have decided to go straight to the top. Your staff has many things much more important on your plates than answering a plea from me for help for something seemingly so insignificant but as a republican with a fourteen year old daughter that looks up to you and follows you on Facebook I thought I'd give it a shot and anyway, we need more republicans in Washington even if it's just three tourists.  

Thank you for your time and for all that you have done for our state. Every day is a great day to be a South Carolinian.
