Governor's Farmers Market Study Committee Meets Wednesday Morning
(COLUMBIA)---Les Tindal, Commissioner of Agriculture, invites anyone interested in the plight of the Columbia State Farmers Market to join him at the Governor's Columbia State Farmers Market Study Committee meeting in Room 207 of the Gressette Building at the State Capitol Complex on Wednesday, October 11, 2000, at 9 AM.
On September 20, 2000, Wilbur-Smith Associates presented the findings of their study and distributed the final DRAFT of their hefty document to the committee members. At that time, the committee members were requested to review the study by the next meeting, so that they could discuss and make a recommendation to the Governor.
Tindal invites anyone interested in the future of the Columbia State Farmers Market and the land on which it is located to join him at the meeting.
