I understand that you have not endorsed the nominee for POTUS and I am thankful for that. On the other hand, voting for this person is condoning everything he has said, some of which has been deemed hateful rhetoric by members of your own party. As the leader of a state still under the microscope for being involved in hate crimes, especially as the result of gun use, how you can vote for the person/ticket inciting such violence is beyond my comprehension. Moreover, supporting such a person/agenda would isolate a community that has opened their hearts and arms to you, regardless the political differences. How is that making America great? I understand and appreciate the differences that you have with the other parties. By no means am I asking you to vote for those candidates. It is my prayer that you just do not align yourself to a person inciting many things that just are not becoming of Americans. There is something you do not like about the candidates and rightfully so. But there is a reason why you will not publicly endorse one candidate in particular. For the first time my life, I agree with something Sen. Ted Cruz said last night. With all due respect, please, ma'am, vote your conscience. Thank you for taking a few minutes of your important time to review my letter.
