I am a 70 year old white (native) South Carolinian, and in my opinion, exchanging the battle flag for any other flag would simply perpetuate division among our citizens. Some flags may be slightly less offensive than others, but all have the potential to produce conflict. South Carolina needs to move forward - not remain trapped in the past - PLEASE help resolve this issue by removing ANY flags from state property, other than the US and SC flags. Every citizen in our state deserves this courtesy. Thank you for your consideration of my comments.
