Dear Governor Haley,

On Friday, November 13, I will be hosting a media event at the home a Columbia resident in the Lake Katherine neighborhood.  

The homeowner is having solar energy put on his home to help with his high energy bills.  The economics of solar work because of the legislation you signed, Act 236, a year ago June, that encourages the investor-owned utilities to incorporate Distributed Energy Generation into their portfolios.

I thought you might wish to attend and see the results of signing the legislation.

I apologize for the short notice, but these roof installations work around the weather - and it looks like Friday will still be sunny!
