Hello, I contact you as one that would like the flag to stay in it's place. I am sure you hear the reason "it is about heritage, not hate" a million times. Do you ever stop and ask these people, what do you consider the flag or your heritage? As a long time resident of SC, I will tell you. Growing up, I saw the (what I called the rebel flag) everywhere I went in the South. I associated it with NASCAR, fishing, hunting, big trucks, country music, bonfires. I wasn't born in 1890, but I was in 1990, so what I saw growing up, is what I consider my heritage. That is the South Carolina I come from, and where the "Rebel Flag" flew. You see, governor, it isn't about hate. I thank you for your time.
