I think it is ridiculous that High dollar DUI attorneys like Steve Sumner in Greenville SC can defend such actions. My daughter and son in law were hit by a drunk driver September 25th in Greenville SC. She rear ended them as they were stopped at a traffic light. Ashley Michelle Bridges, 23 of Easley SC, never even hit her brakes. She pushed them head on into on coming traffic. My daughter lost her precious unborn baby girl, Lexington Hope. Beside the fact of the emotional trauma, she did not have sufficient insurance to cover the claim. So of course my daughters underinsured will have to pay claims. It really infuriates me that law abiding citizens have to pay the price of drunk drivers. And the laws seem to float in the favor of the guilty party. Of course she was not hurt in the accident. So blood was not drawn. That should be mandatory when injury/death is caused. What can I do to bring this up? How do I start? I have already contacted MADD. Something needs to change to protect the innocent and not the guilty. I know Steve Sumner will try to get the breathalyzer thrown out, try to portray her as an innocent girl under duress etc..... I am a very upset mother/grandmother. Cindy Davis
