I do not know if you read this or an assistant does. I do not know if this email matters or if I am wasting my breath. But, if you are reading this I need your help. To warn you ahead of time I am a simple student at Mauldin High School. I live in Simpsonville S.C, I have no political ties, I can't further your career or help your advances in life. But, you can help mine and the many other citizens of South Carolina; you can give us a normal life. The issue I am emailing you about is medical cannabis. I know there is much stigma with this drug, as there is stigma against me as a teenager. Many say this is a dangerous drug that is useless as a medicine. But, I have used this drug since I was diagnosed with major depression. It has changed my life forever. The regular medicines the doctors gave me, made me a zombie or made me want to commit suicide. But, cannabis makes me feel normal again; it does this with little to no side effects. So I ask you, I beg you to please bring medical cannabis to South Carolina.
