I am just wondering if the justice system would have gave the boy more time in jail for the strong arm robbery instead of just time served and freed him just one month before he killed the same officer that arrested him for the strong arm robbery, would the officer be alive today? Also is anyone looking into how the system failed the officer and any changes going to be made to ensure longer time in jail and or boot camps or something to help young people turn there life around? They need to be on a better path before just releasing them to go do more crimes. The current system is sending a signal that no real jail time for crimes and they move up to worse crimes, in this case murder of an officer.
