The morning of October the 3rd my son, his wife, and my 2 precious grandaughters were rescued from the flood at Foxwood Apartments in Greenwood SC. I am sure you must have seen the coverage of them on all the news chanels. That same morning at 6:30 they were brought to my home in Laurens county SC. I rushed to the truck to collect them with waters up to my thighs, as my homestead had also been flooded but not nearly as bad as to what they had just experienced. We all dried off, collected ourselves and were safe, thanks to the grace of God.
  My son and his family lost their home, car, belongings, Luckily the company he worked for offerd him an apartment but only for a short while until the Executives for the company came in for Christmas.
  My son and his family have now moved in with us and are trying to remodel a mobile home on our property that was destroyed by the flood not including the damage to my home. We are all now fully exahausted of funds. 
  The landlord and property owners at Foxwood in Greenwood were fully compensated almost immediatly.
His family was then evicted. Given their deposit back and that as they say was that.
  Now here we are, I applied for FEMA but Laurens county is not a FEMA county ( although every county surrounding is ). We have gone through all our funds with no support. I cannot see how we  will be able to provide gifts at all for the 2 girls.
  How is it that the owners in GWD collect, my family suffered and get nothing, then they come live here and we still suffer and get nothing?
  Mrs. Haley I aknowledge there are many many folk suffering way more than we are. I am just asking for a fair shake. 
  Please inspire us, help us and help us not to be lost in the mix. And May God bless you and your family during the hardships you are enduring and your futre endeavours. 
  
   I sincerely thank you for being a great Govenor to our great state and having a great backbone.
   I look forward to your feedback on my issue at at hand.
