The parent portal, Listserv was abuzz over the graphic content. I did look at the book and agree with all the negative feedback. I was pleasantly surprised when it hit the news that $52,000 would not be reimbursed to the school and found the response very appropriate that the decision was made after CofC refused to offer an alternative selection. We are a Christian family and are pleased when our rights are not trampled upon. If a Christian book was required reading, there would be much more outrage. Tolerance cannot go only one direction. My husband, an attorney, said "pornography is not protected under the first amendment." Please continue to stand firm against aggressive liberalism. I have read Listserv posters say they have gotten a call from your staff. I would welcome a call. Have a blessed day, Sonya Jones
