Governor Haley,
I urge you to reconsider your rejection of Federal funds for the expansion of Medicaid in our state. Your ideological opposition to the expansion has real-world consequences. 
A friend of mine beat breast cancer last year. She has no income beyond child support and therefore cannot afford even the lowest-cost plans under the PPACA as she does not qualify for the tax credit. Though her cancer has gone for now, she needs follow-up preventive care and tests to ensure she remains healthy and alive for her children. Had you taken the Medicaid expansion funds under PPACA my friend would have a future and her kids would know they will have a mother for years to come. That future is in jeopardy. You've made your point re: PPACA, now do the right thing for the people of SC.
