The Post and Courier has launched a political website which is soon to be where South Carolina's voters turn to for political news and information.  Our media website, www.postandcourier.com receives 60,000+ unique visitor's per day and we are well respected across the Lowcountry as the most trusted and valuable regional news resource.  Our political website's homepage is www.palmettopolitics.com, and it is a major initiative for our newsroom as well as the main focus for our marketing team - we will soon become South Carolina's version of Poitico.com.  We have recently hired two new reporters that are working solely out of the Columbia bureau to update our readers on the goings on at our State Capitol.
