Good afternoon, Governor Haley.

I wanted to write to you to strongly urge and request that you refuse to accept Syrian/Middle East refugees being sent to South Carolina.  Not only do you and I feel that South Carolina is the best state in the U.S., and that its people deserve to be protected in any way possible, but we have one of the largest port systems in the U.S., and this would be a huge target for terrorism that would cripple our economy in so many ways.  Please stand strong against our liberal US government in this ever-so-important issue, as you have in so many other areas during your terms as governor.  Thank you for your service to South Carolina.  We are so very appreciative.  Also, I wanted to thank you so very much for taking the stand against Planned Parenthood and the awful practices taking place in so many abortion clinics across our state.  I was thrilled to see your actions so soon after I last wrote you regarding this topic.  It truly helped me feel as if my voice matters.
