thank you for reading this letter.  Im writing today to support are educators.  elementary teachers now have so much extra work to do that wasnt around 10 years ago.  The teachers are required to attend numerous mandatory after school activities.  meetings, Science night, math night, school carnivals,parent teacher conferences,  etc.  These nights are fun but takes time from the teachers home life which is already taken alot of time from grading papers and doing classes that the state require teachers to take to re certify.  These class the teachers have to pay for. We dont give teachers lunch breaks.  Teachers have to eat there food while attending to students eating there lunch.  This is just wrong.  The news have been covering the fast food industry trying to get fair pay, but what about teachers?  Teachers educate the future of america and we treat them so bad. Im writing this to try to shed some light on how bad are teachers are taken care of.  We have to do better.  We need to pay these teachers better and give them what every other hard working american gets.  A Lunch break with out kids everyday.  Lets treat are teachers like everyone else. Do teachers need to get a union to be treated fair.  we should pay teachers something for these evening activites, give them lunch breaks with out kids.
